That’s the motto at Captain Mike’s Diving Services.
Located on City Island, which is in the New York area, Captain Mike’s caters to both the beginner and advanced scuba
diver. This 5 Star PADI Training Facility teaches diver education from Open Water Diver through Instructor as well as
many exciting specialty courses such as Rescue Diver, Ice Diver and more. Instruction also includes Technical diving with
mixed gases, Extended Range and Rebreathers. Dive charters are arranged regularly around the New York area as well as trips
to the Caribbean and other exotic dive destinations.
The shop is owned and operated by Michael Carew who is a ten-year
veteran of the N.Y.P.D. Scuba team. He is a diving enthusiast; whose experience and expertise make these dive charters
a true adventure. Wreck diving and lobster and black fish hunts are among the favorites along with searching the bottom
for antique bottles dating back to the 1700’s.
For those who prefer the warmer waters, the shop has hosted trips
to destinations such as;
- The Bahamas
- Florida Keys
- Bonaire
- The Cayman Islands
and other destinations around the world
The store is open Monday-Friday
10 AM - 7 PM, Saturday 10AM - 6PM, and Sunday we are closed.
