Ice Dive 2010

 

 

Ice Diving for 2010 will be on March 6th and 7th at Northern Lake George Resort.  The resort has townhouse units and each unit will accommodate up to 4 people and has a fireplace, kitchen, lounge, bedroom (with full size bed) and loft (with two full size beds) overlooking the lake.  Ice Dive Certification will be three dives.  (Fourth dive is optional)  
 
Join us Friday evening at one of Lake George's local restaurant's for our annual dinner. Saturday and Sunday breakfast is available at the lodge.   Saturday night join us for BBQ (Steak, Chicken, Hamburgers, Hot Dogs, Refreshments and all the sides - $25 per person) and RICHIE'S FAMOUS HOMEMADE CHILI.

ANDI Complete SafeAir User Program (CSU)

Complete SafeAir User (CSU Level 2)

Text:  The Application of Enriched Air Mixtures

The CSU course is the "advanced SafeAir" program and buildings upon and expands the materials introduced in the LSU course.  It covers the information necessary to make use of all 8 of the ANDI identified applications of SafeAir within the sport diving limits.  Those completing this course are certified to use all Safeair mixtures, including Safeair 50.  This program requires 8 - 12 hours of lecture and two open water orientation/training dives.

Pre-requisite: Open Water Certified

NOTE:  Part one (classroom) ad part two ( open water ) are to be completed satisfactorily prior to CSU certification.  A part one certification may be issued upon satisfactory completion of all classroom requirements.  This certification may be used to complete the two logged SafeAir dives required for full certification.

Course Fees $295 including student materials

Course Completion Dive $130 including SafeAir fills.

Captain Mike's Diving and ANDI International will have an in pool demonstration with the rebreather unit. It will be on Saturday, January 30th at 3:00 PM at SUNY Maritime College. Cost is $125. Each participant will get approximately 40 minutes on the rebreather unit and receive the ANDI International Introduction to Rebreather Diving Book.
